Chandigarh, October 20, 2025: The Punjab and Haryana High Court on Monday ordered the transfer of 13 judicial officers across Punjab with immediate effect. The list includes District and Sessions Judges as well as Additional Sessions Judges. According to the order, Jatinder Kaur has been appointed as the new District and Sessions Judge of Amritsar, while Avtar Singh has been transferred from Fazilka to Patiala. The court stated that all transferred judges will assume their new responsibilities shortly.In a separate move, 29 judicial officers in Haryana have also been transferred as part of the administrative reshuffle.
