Amritsar (Gurpreet Singh): Severe fog blanketed Amritsar late Thursday, leading to significant disruption at Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport as multiple flights were delayed or cancelled due to low visibility conditions. Officials said visibility levels dropped sharply after nightfall, forcing airlines to halt departures for both domestic and international routes. Several aircraft scheduled to fly out after 9 pm remained grounded for hours, while a Kuala Lumpur-bound service was cancelled. CBI Court Rejects Bail Plea of Suspended DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar in Disproportionate Assets Case

Chandigarh, December 18, 2025: A Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court on Thursday rejected the bail application of suspended Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Harcharan Singh Bhullar in a disproportionate assets case.The court declined to grant relief to Bhullar at this stage, observing that the matter is still under judicial scrutiny. With the bail plea turned down, Bhullar will continue to remain in custody as the investigation and legal proceedings progress.The case relates to allegations that the suspended officer amassed assets disproportionate to his known sources of income. Further proceedings in the matter are awaited.
