Ganderbal, J&K: A major accident was averted in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday after a bus carrying personnel of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) skidded off the road and fell into the Sindh river at Kullan in Ganderbal district amid heavy rainfall, officials said. All security personnel on board were successfully rescued. However, the driver of the bus sustained injuries and was immediately shifted to a hospital for treatment.
