National Times Bureau :- The Punjab Government has reinstated former Chief Vigilance Officer SPS Parmar, who was earlier suspended in connection with the alleged license scam. Parmar was suspended on April 25, 2025, alongside Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Swaranjit Singh and Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Harpreet Singh of the Vigilance Bureau. Short Tenure as Vigilance Chief Parmar had a brief tenure as the Chief of the Vigilance Bureau. He was appointed on March 26, 2025, replacing Nageshwar Rao IPS.
