Tarn Taran (Gurpreet Singh): To ensure a peaceful and transparent voting process for the Tarn Taran Assembly by-election, the district administration has implemented a 72-hour ban on campaign activities and public gatherings. The restrictions will remain in force from 6:00 PM on November 9 until 6:00 PM on November 11, 2025, the day of polling. The order, issued by District Magistrate Rahul (IAS) under the directives of the Election Commission of India (ECI), prohibits all election-related meetings, rallies, and protests within the constituency.
