Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, April 20:The wheat procurement process in Mohali district's grain markets is progressing smoothly with 52,529 metric tons of wheat already purchased. Deputy Commissioner Kom Mittal confirmed the information, adding that ₹114.52 crore has already been transferred directly into farmers' accounts.Mittal emphasized that under Punjab Government directives, payments are being made within the stipulated 48-hour window.
