PSEB Announces Datesheet for Class 8, 10 and 12 Board Examinations

Chandigarh, December 30, 2025: The Punjab School Education Board has released the examination schedule for the upcoming Class 8, Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations, setting the stage for nearly nine lakh students across the state to appear in the annual written tests.

As per the datesheet issued by the board, the Class 8 examinations will be held from February 17 to February 27. The Class 10 board examinations are scheduled to begin on March 6 and will conclude on April 1, while the Class 12 examinations will commence on February 17 and continue until April 4.

The board has advised students to start their preparations early and regularly visit the official PSEB website for complete details related to the examination schedule and instructions. Officials said all written examinations will be conducted in a single shift from 11:00 am to 2:15 pm.

This year, around 2.77 lakh students are expected to appear for the Class 8 examinations at more than 2,300 examination centres across Punjab. For Class 10, approximately 2.84 lakh candidates will take the exams at nearly 2,200 centres, while a similar number of students will appear for the Class 12 examinations at about 2,200 centres statewide.

To ensure smooth conduct of the examinations and address student queries, the Punjab School Education Board will set up a dedicated control room at its headquarters. Students have been encouraged to keep checking the board’s official portal, where all important notifications, updates and instructions will be made available. Access to detailed information will require candidates to log in through the official website.
